Introduction and Objectives

EDDIE Webinar wants to respond to key questions raised by the 4th Revolution, addressing the main forces of change in ENERGY Transition: Low Carbon Objectives & Digitalization. Using EDUCATION lenses we will look at the ENERGY Sector to find solutions for the LEARNING Transition, as well. Synergies with EdgeFLEX and PHOENIX H2020 research projects in the digitalization of energy will allow a better understanding of the landmarks for the mandatory transformation in education as a sustainable response to the new and future requirements.

EDDIE Consortium with CRE Association, as work package leader in charge with dissemination and exploitation organized the International Event within European Vocational Sustainable Week as a consultation with the relevant stakeholders to address main challenges related to “Strengthening Education for Sustainable Energy Transition & Digitalization”. Synergies with EU H2020 funded projects were disscussed as the event was organized in partnership with edgeFLEX and PHOENIX projects.

EDDIE was involved in the European Vocational Skills Week this year on 17 November as an associated event for dissemination project’s results, lesson learned and conclusions from the needs identified in the professional environment regarding the knowledge and skills on digitalization, VET providers, and the education system, with the involvement of policy makers.
